Mona Kanaan
Art is my passion and freedom. As I paint, a powerful energy is mobilized that challenges my inner self to open up. It gives me space to recreate a combination of thoughts, emotions and exclusive experiences in a non-judgmental and creative way. My purpose is to let my art find the place where it belongs.
For me, it is important to reflect the prospects I experience in nature and the insights I gain in my different roles as a woman in today's society. That is why my art has often revolved around nature, people and especially women. Both vulnerability and strength. The art I create is both imaginative and abstract. The intensity of the colors I use is my quest to reach the deepest I can achieve with my expressions.
